Location: Piccadilly London
Value: £160,000
Size: 5500 sq ft
Overview
Kinetic were invited by Holder Mathias to work with them on the relocation of their London based offices from Conduit St to Piccadilly.
The design concept was already produced internally by the client but Kinetic worked on the final design with the partners to produce the final result. It was good to work in this way, to bounce ideas for the space around to arrive at a design that all agreed worked very well. The office has some interesting features as it was on the top floor of the building, with skylights letting lots of natural light into the space.
We managed to configure the meeting room designs around these skylights to great effect.
The main focus of the design centered around the Entrance / Reception area, leading onto a shaped corridor effect with meeting rooms running off to one side, then onward to new kitchen /breakout area. The rest of the office was based around studio working for staff.

Client
We worked very well with Kinetic to produce a great design that fitted nicely into the space. We had challenges with the services within the building but these were overcome by the design. The main focus of the design was the client facing areas and these have turned out very well indeed. We chose a very clean white surface for most furniture and storage surfaces mixed with vibrant fabrics. The flooring choices worked well with a long Polyfloor vinyl walkway neatly edged with carpet. We imposed a tight deadline on Kinetic for the works due to our lease end dates, but they responded very well indeed. The standard of the work was impeccable and we hit our desired site completion and relocation dates with a week to spare.
