Overview

Mitel wanted to create a new Product Demonstration Suite facility in their London base, they also wanted to upgrade the reception and entrance hallway which leads on to the Demo Suite. A furniture upgrade was also a requirement in all the meeting rooms.

Kinetic were engaged to come up with a design for the Demo Suite that focused their clients on communications products on the main desk whilst also being able to see 3 large 80” TV screens as the main presentation tool.

The Suite also incorporated a higher level viewing point at a bar set back from main desk, plus a media wall unit with single TV monitor with interactive bench surface, plus a soft seat area to discuss products thereafter.

The design centred around defining these distinct areas with elliptical floor and ceiling bulkhead shapes to highlight the main areas of focus in the room.

The lighting was inset into bulkheads and feature LED rope lighting in blue was added to accentuate the ceiling design and also illuminate the bespoke furniture.

All the demo room furniture was specifically designed to work with the technology and was made in a clinical white laminate.

The soft furnishings were all cream leather and chrome, soft pad chairs with Barcelona occasional seats.

The Media / lighting / and automatic blinds were all operated from the two podium points by the demo person in charge.

The entrance hall continued the theme with bulkhead over a white bespoke reception desk that sat within a floor design that curved and meandered its way to the demo suite glass entrance.

The cream leather was continued through the meeting rooms around all tables.
